SUCH-Production Planning Analyst role at Tenaris in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. You will support mill schedule production programming and dispatch, assess PU capacity, plan production runs and manage constraints to maximize efficiency.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance and logistics, monitor resources, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and prepare management reports to support decision-making.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess capacity constraints and devise efficient production schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Participate actively in the development and preparation of detailed production programs, estimating production needs by evaluating plant capacity and pinpointing operational restrictions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and logistics to ensure schedules are executed effectively and deadlines met.
• Coordinate corrective measures promptly when deviations arise to sustain production flow.
• Analyze and manage inputs for production processes, ensuring resources such as raw materials and equipment are available and operating optimally.

• Uphold adherence to laws, regulations and safety standards relevant to production planning.
• Safeguard assets from damage, theft or misuse and promote a secure work environment.

Purpose

As a SUCH-Production Planning Analyst you will play a critical role in supporting the mill schedule production programming and dispatch activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes. Your analytical skills will be essential in assessing the available capacity of Production Units (PUs), strategically planning production runs and identifying operational constraints.

This position is designed to maximize production efficiency while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the development and preparation of detailed production programs, accurately estimating production needs by evaluating plant capacity and pinpointing any operational restrictions such as tooling availability and process sequencing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance and logistics to ensure that production schedules are executed effectively and completed within set deadlines.
• Coordinate corrective measures promptly when deviations arise to sustain production flow.
• Analyze and manage required inputs for production processes, ensuring that necessary resources including raw materials and equipment are available and operating optimally to meet production targets.
• Maintain compliance with all Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards.
• Uphold adherence to applicable laws, regulations and safety standards relevant to production planning and plant operations.
• Safeguard physical assets such as facilities, machinery and tools from damage, theft or misuse, promoting a secure and well-maintained work environment.
• Utilize production planning software and data analytics tools to monitor, forecast and optimize production schedules contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to production planning activities to support informed decision-making by management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration, transparency and alignment with production objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess capacity constraints and devise efficient production schedules.
• Proficiency in production planning software and advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, able to work collaboratively within diverse teams and across departments.
