Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process engineering strategy, design, and optimization for upstream and midstream oil facilities. You will oversee PFDs, P&IDs, simulations, and calculations while ensuring compliance with codes and client specs.

You will provide technical authority on process design, safety, and performance, supporting FEED through commissioning and mentoring engineers to sustain technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering; master's preferred.
• Extensive experience in upstream and midstream oil and gas projects.
• Strong expertise in process simulation and hydrocarbon processing systems.
• Proven leadership and technical authority on large-scale projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering strategy, design, and optimization for upstream and midstream oil facilities.
• Oversee development and approval of PFDs, P&IDs, simulations, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Provide technical authority on process design, safety, and operational performance.
• Support project execution across FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Drive process optimization, debottlenecking, and efficiency improvements.
• Interface with operations, HSE, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex issues.
• Mentor process engineers and maintain technical excellence within the team.
