Air Products seeks a Lead TAR Planner to manage turnaround planning for BHIG assets in Jubail, coordinating TARs from scope development to operations handover. Purpose
This key position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and preparing all maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification activities associated with various assets of BHIG including but not limited to SATORP, SASREF, Jubail Industrial Gases Hub [JIGH], reporting directly to Project Controls Manger in Operation Project Management Team.
The Lead Planner TAR will focus on developing and implementing Turnaround plans such that the equipment integrity and plant reliability is maintained at the lowest sustainable cost to BHIG, consistent with the facility’s asset management plan.
Nature & Scope
The candidate will be responsible for:
Coordinate for the development, execution, and management of SATORP /SASREF/JIGH TAR with range of $5M to $50M.
Coordinate for the development, planning and execution of diverse brownfield projects ranging from $25K-$5M plant improvements.
Coordinate and work with cross-functional teams through all TARs /Projects phases, including scope development, technical bid evaluation, execution of final handover to operations team.
Support and work with Project Controls Manager to develop and implement strategic TAR/Project execution plans, ensuring alignment with BHIG’s goals and stakeholder expectations
Utilize advanced project management tools to monitor progress, maintain budgets, and adhere to schedules
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and BHIG’s zero-injury objective
Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes effectively throughout project lifecycles
Conduct thorough project evaluations and “lessons learned” sessions to drive operational excellence

Hold EPC contractors accountable for maintaining budget and schedule
Develop and implement specific project execution strategies
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate project strategies and status to all stakeholders, including upper management
Collaborate with various departments (operations, finance, supply chain, safety) to ensure alignment and compliance
TAR/Project Documentation
Oversee project documentation, ensuring all necessary records are maintained and updated
Manage project close-out documentation and handover to operations
Technology Integration
Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project) effectively
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with various departments to ensure integrated project delivery
Coordinate with Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases (BHIG) internal technical resources on complex issues
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Engineering or other technical graduate degrees (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical).
8-12 years’ experience in industrial gases, oil and gas, and/or petrochemical industry.
ERP (SAP) project development and Implementation experience is preferred.
Proven track record in the chemical, oil and gas, or petrochemical industry in project execution, engineering management, or construction management. Experience in amulti-national company with excellent EHS performance/culture is highly desirable
Must be self-starter and have turnaround /brownfield project management experience to be able to work independently and coordinate efforts among support and leadership resources.

Basic understanding of the process technologies employed in operations of Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases (BHIG) facilities.

Strong organizational and turnaround management skills. Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, or other Project/TAR Management tools isrequired.
Demonstrates practical industrial field experience with strong leadership and communications skills.
Must have a hands‑on and proactive approach with clear accountability in steering the TAR execution safely and consistent with Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases (BHIG) requirements.
Demonstrates experience working in an international or multi‑national organization and appreciation of international cultures. Preferred to have exposure to matrix reporting.
