Job summary

ABICON is seeking a Lead Planner in Saudi Arabia to develop and maintain the baseline and progressive project schedule using Primavera P6, coordinating with construction, procurement and engineering teams.

You will supervise planners, consolidate discipline schedules into an integrated master schedule, monitor progress, perform CPM/EVM analyses, prepare progress curves and dashboards, and present schedule status in progress meetings for management and client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience on EPC or construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the baseline and progressive project schedule (Primavera P6).
• Supervise Planners and consolidate discipline schedules into an integrated master schedule.
• Monitor progress and update the schedule based on site input and productivity data.
• Conduct schedule variance and critical path analysis, highlighting delays and risks.
• Prepare progress curves (S-curves), histograms, and progress reports for management and the client.
• Coordinate with construction, procurement, and engineering on schedule interfaces.
• Support what-if scenarios and recovery schedule development.
• Ensure progress measurement methodology is applied consistently across disciplines.
• Support preparation of look-ahead schedules (weekly/monthly) for site execution.
• Coordinate schedule-related information for change orders/claims.
• Present schedule status in progress meetings.
• Maintain schedule documentation and historical records for lessons learned.

Experience: +10 years of experience in planning/scheduling on EPC or construction projects, including team leadership experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
