Job summary

ABICON is seeking a Planner to support schedule development, progress monitoring, and reporting for assigned disciplines within ABICON's scope of work. The role ensures accurate and timely schedule updates.

Responsibilities include updating Primavera P6/MS Project schedules, preparing progress reports, and coordinating with site supervision to validate progress data. A +3 year track record in construction planning is expected.

Qualifications

• +3 years of experience in planning/scheduling on construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field; working knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and advanced MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify progress data from site supervisors and foremen.
• Update assigned discipline schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and productivity tracking sheets.
• Support preparation of look-ahead schedules for site execution.
• Assist in progress measurement and quantity tracking against baseline.
• Identify and report schedule deviations to the Lead Planner.
• Coordinate with site supervision to validate reported progress.
• Maintain planning records and documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify progress data from site supervisors and foremen
• Update assigned discipline schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and productivity tracking sheets
• Support preparation of look-ahead schedules for site execution
• Assist in progress measurement and quantity tracking against baseline
• Identify and report schedule deviations to the Lead Planner
• Support preparation of progress curves and histograms
• Coordinate with site supervision to validate reported progress
• Maintain planning records and documentation
• Support manpower and equipment histograms for assigned scope
• Assist in preparing input for client progress reports

Experience:

+3 years of experience in planning/scheduling on construction projects.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field. Working knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project.
