Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all low-voltage electrical engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Oversee BIM-based coordination for LV systems, ensuring accurate model integration and resolving clashes with other disciplines
• Review LV electrical models, drawings, and shop drawings; provide clear comments and guide teams to resolve design, installation, and interface issues
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality, progress, and adherence to approved design documents
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to address technical challenges and support buildable, cost-effective solutions
• Participate in material approvals, method statement reviews, and technical evaluations related to LV systems
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of site issues to maintain project schedule and quality objectives

KeyQualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant LV electrical engineering experience
• Solid understanding of BIM workflows and coordination across engineering disciplines
• Strong capability to review models/drawings, provide comments, and resolve design issues
• Proven site-based experience with hands-on involvement in LV system installation and coordination
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; professional accreditation is an advantage
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills suitable for construction environments
