Job summary

Dot Architects, a multidisciplinary design firm, seeks a Lead Interior Designer for an on-site role in Al Qatif, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee interior design projects from concept through handover, coordinating with architects, landscape designers, consultants, and contractors to maintain design integrity and quality.

Qualifications

• Interior design expertise in space planning, concept development, materials, and furniture/lighting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
• Experience in project management: scheduling, budgeting, contractor coordination, on-site oversight.
• Strong client-facing skills: communicating, presenting, translating needs into design.
• Leadership and collaboration: mentoring juniors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience leading interior projects in commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors.
• Knowledge of local building codes, sustainability, and QA.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end interior design projects from concept to handover.
• Ensure designs meet client needs, brand identity and budgets.
• Develop mood boards and material palettes; review drawings.
• Manage design documentation and on-site implementation.
• Mentor junior designers and ensure deliverables meet timelines and standards.
• Stay current with trends, products, and technologies to enhance offerings.
