AECOM is seeking a Lead Field Engineer - Facade and Envelope in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a Civil Engineering role overseeing facade and building envelope systems on complex construction projects. The position combines field engineering leadership, technical analysis, installation oversight, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary coordination, with responsibility for ensuring curtain wall, glazing, weatherproofing, and related envelope works comply with project specifications, international standards, and the Saudi Building Code.
Lead field engineering activities for facade and building envelope systems.
The Lead Field Engineer will manage quality control inspections and testing protocols for facade and envelope works. This includes verifying installation quality against approved requirements and ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, project specifications, and the Saudi Building Code. The role also requires analysis of facade-related defects or performance concerns, followed by development of appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Experience on construction projects in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East is preferred. Certifications related to facade engineering, building envelope systems, or associated disciplines are advantageous. Familiarity with facade performance analysis and thermal and acoustic considerations is also preferred.
