Job description
Overview

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that's shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

Are you passionate about driving fleet reliability and optimizing maintenance programs through data-driven insights and strategic analytics? You will supervise and maintain engineering support to keep airframe systems and components on the fleet in a highly technically reliable condition, delivering operational excellence and meeting commercial expectations. As the technical reliability leader, you\'ll ensure uncompromising safety, airworthiness, and dispatch reliability aligned with Riyadh Air\'s strategic objectives.

You will ensure full regulatory compliance with the Reliability Control Program (RCP), Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) Manual, and GACA requirements through proactive oversight and systematic execution. You will apply expert MSG-3 methodology to optimize maintenance programs through comprehensive evaluation of failure modes, task intervals, and decision logic for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

You can expect to leverage comprehensive data sources from flight operations, maintenance records, and MEL defect logs to detect trends and identify recurring issues, while delivering actionable reliability intelligence through regular reporting to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities. You\'ll facilitate strategic Reliability Review Board meetings across engineering, planning, quality, maintenance, and flight operations, employ advanced reliability analysis techniques including MTBF, MTBUR, and age-to-failure analysis, and investigate complex reliability challenges to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective measures. You\'ll also engage strategically with OEMs and component vendors to assess technical issues, validate innovative solutions, and establish ambitious team goals and KPIs while providing mentorship to drive continuous professional development.

This is a critical role where your analytical expertise and strategic leadership will directly enhance fleet reliability, dispatch performance, and Riyadh Air\'s commitment to operational excellence.
