Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a landscape engineer to act as the technical authority for all landscape matters on the project in Saudi Arabia. You will review and approve landscape designs, drawings and specifications submitted by contractors and consultants, and ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental requirements and Saudi standards.

You will provide guidance on softscape and hardscape design, coordinate with civil, irrigation and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for all landscape-related matters on the project
• Review and approve landscape designs drawings and specifications submitted by contractors and consultants
• Ensure compliance with local regulations environmental requirements and Saudi standards
• Provide guidance on softscape and hardscape design including plant selection irrigation systems and urban furniture
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify contractor compliance with design intent
• Review and approve RFIs submittals and design modifications related to landscape works
• Coordinate with civil irrigation and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of landscape with overall project design
• Review and validate landscape construction methodologies and installation sequences
• Oversee irrigation drainage and soil management systems in collaboration with relevant disciplines
• Provide input for value engineering sustainability and cost optimization
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards are met
• Support project handover with as-built documentation and maintenance guidelines
• Mentor and guide junior landscape engineers and architects within the PMC team
