Job summary

Misk Schools in Riyadh invites applications for Associate Teachers to support Junior School learning. You will work closely with teachers, prepare materials, and help deliver bilingual lessons using translanguaging techniques.

You will contribute to safeguarding and foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience in junior schools, with ability to work under pressure and build strong relationships with students,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• +2 years' experience in Junior Schools.
• Experience with students with diverse learning, social and psychological needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, stimulating environment for students.
• Support teachers through small group or whole class instruction.
• Provide cover for lessons, CCAPs and duties when required.
• Effectively use translanguaging strategies to maintain bilingualism in all areas of the curriculum.
• Be aware of and implement emergency and evacuation procedures as required.
• Attend and participate in training days and weekly staff meetings.
• Supervise playtimes and lunchtimes when required.
• Promote the subject(s) within the school and provide co-curricular opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider team.
• Provide support inside and outside the classroom, including camps and educational visits.
