Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on IT Engineer to own day-to-day IT operations at Nayla Finance. This role covers IT support, systems administration, network management, device provisioning, user access control, asset tracking, and security hygiene. You will be the go-to person for building a stable, secure, and high-performance IT environment that supports a scaling startup.
This role is perfect for someone who is technical, structured, and solutions-driven — someone who loves solving IT challenges and building internal systems that support people.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
- Provide end-user support (Windows/Mac troubleshooting, software installs, printers, VPN, Office 365/Google Workspace).
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and tickets.
- Own IT helpdesk operations with SLA-driven response and resolution times.
Systems Administration
- Manage and monitor internal systems (Microsoft 365, VPN, company domains, cloud services).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (joiners, movers, leavers).
- Ensure secure backup and data recovery practices are in place.
Networking & Infrastructure
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network performance.
- Monitor network uptime and security across office environments.
- Work with ISPs/vendors to maintain connectivity and infrastructure.
Asset Management
- Handle provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of laptops and IT equipment.
- Track company IT assets and licenses with full lifecycle visibility.
- Support procurement and vendor coordination for IT hardware/software.
Security & Compliance Support
- Implement IT security hygiene (password policy, MFA, access logs).
- Support compliance for SAMA, cybersecurity assessments, and IT audits.
- Work closely with the CISO and Compliance team for IT security alignment.
Collaboration
- Work closely with HR for onboarding/offboarding automation.
- Support Tech/Product teams with system configurations, tools, and environments.
- Develop IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for internal use.
Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT Support / System Administration.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD, Windows/Mac OS.
- Good knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VLAN, firewalls).
- Experience with endpoint security and IT asset management.
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Freshdesk, Zendesk).
- Experience with IT policies and cybersecurity basics.
- Arabic + English communication.
- Certifications (CCNA, CompTIA A+/N+, Microsoft, ITIL) are a bonus.
