Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an IT Applications Support Engineer to maintain and optimize enterprise apps across manufacturing and supply chain. You will configure functionality per business needs and monitor performance to resolve incidents efficiently.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, database and security teams to ensure availability, and participate in deployments, upgrades and lifecycle activities. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment.
• Experience in manufacturing operations or end-to-end supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle).
• ItIL processes and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with IT service management platforms (BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).
• Understanding of application security, access management, monitoring platforms, and APM tools.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field with fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and improve enterprise applications across manufacturing shopfloor and supply chain.
• Configure application functionality based on business and technical requirements.
• Monitor performance, investigate incidents, troubleshoot and drive root cause resolution.
• Participate in deployments, upgrades, patching and lifecycle management activities.
• Contribute to transformation projects including analysis, testing, AI tool adoption and coordination.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database and security teams to ensure availability and performance.
• Provide Level 2 production support while maintaining SOPs and knowledge articles.

• Configure application functionality based on business and technical requirements
• Monitor application performance investigate incidents perform troubleshooting and drive root cause resolution
• Participate in application deployments upgrades patching activities and lifecycle management initiatives
• Contribute to operational transformation projects including requirements analysis testing AI tool adoption monitoring solutions and application-related project coordination
• Collaborate with infrastructure database and security teams to ensure application availability reliability and performance
• Provide Level 2 support for production environments while maintaining documentation standard operating procedures and knowledge articles

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment
• Experience within manufacturing operations and/or end-to-end supply chain environments
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, or Oracle
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile ways of working
• Experience using IT service management platforms such as BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow
• Understanding of application security, access management, monitoring platforms, and application performance monitoring tools
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with fluent English communication skills
