Hill International, Inc. seeks a senior Interface Manager to oversee interfaces among contractors, design disciplines, and existing infrastructure on large water sector projects in Saudi Arabia.

You will identify dependencies, scope boundaries and outstanding issues, driving actions to closure while reducing clashes, rework and cost impacts across complex programmes. Significant GCC/Middle East giga-project experience is highly desirable.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Water or Environmental Engineering.
• Chartered or Professional Engineer status desirable.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility.
• PMI/APM certification is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in interface management on large projects.

Manage interfaces between contractors, design disciplines, project packages, stakeholders and existing infrastructure. The role ensures technical dependencies, scope boundaries and outstanding issues are identified and resolved, helping to prevent clashes, rework, delays and cost impacts across complex water projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 20+ years of experience in engineering and/or project delivery, with significant experience in interface management on large-scale infrastructure projects.


• Strong experience in the water sector, including water transmission, desalination, treatment, pumping stations, storage and distribution networks.


• Proven experience managing interfaces between multiple contractors, design consultants, disciplines and stakeholders, including brownfield tie-ins and existing infrastructure.


• Strong understanding of design and construction processes across civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines, including scope boundaries, battery limits, tie-in points and technical dependencies.


• Proven ability to identify and resolve scope gaps, design clashes, technical risks and interface issues before they impact cost or programme.


• Experience leading interface coordination meetings and workshops and driving actions through to closure.


• Good knowledge of FIDIC, EPC and design-build contracts, including interface responsibilities, claims, variations and change management.


• Experience with Aconex, Navisworks, Primavera P6 or similar interface, document management and BIM tools.


• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.


• Experience working on major programmes or giga-projects in the GCC/Middle East is highly desirable.

• Chartered or Professional Engineer status (CEng, PE or equivalent) is desirable.


• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration or eligibility to register.


• Project management certification such as PMP or APM is an advantage.
