Job summary

SYSTRA, a leading engineering consultancy for public transport and mobility, seeks an Interface Manager to lead the project’s interface strategy and coordinate across engineering, construction, rail systems, and stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational skills and hands-on leadership in complex environments.

Responsibilities include managing interfaces, maintaining registers, and driving alignment through meetings and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in interface management on major infra projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary interfaces across phases.
• Understanding of railway project environments and stakeholders.
• Experience in leadership roles focused on coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the interface management strategy and reporting.
• Identify, define, track, and manage interfaces across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, construction, rail systems, utilities, stakeholders, and third parties.
• Maintain interface registers, action trackers, responsibility matrices, and control processes.
• Ensure interface requirements are communicated, monitored, and closed out on time.
• Facilitate interface meetings, workshops, and coordination reviews across teams.
• Collaborate with design, construction, commercial, planning, testing, commissioning, and project controls teams.
• Identify risks, conflicts, scope gaps, and develop mitigation plans.
