Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry focusing on core systems and processes.
• Proven ability to optimize insurance platforms and provide system advisory.
• Deep understanding of policy, claims, underwriting, and risk workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional communication.
• Experience with insurance system implementations and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to SME for core insurance processes including policy management, underwriting, claims, and risk assessment.
• Advise on process improvements ensuring operations align with industry best practices.
• Provide strategic input on system optimizations for efficient, scalable platforms.
• Lead advisory sessions with business stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Support escalation and issue resolution as the SME for complex challenges.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement changes and ensure smooth transitions.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer on new processes and system functionalities.
