Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Insurance Officer to manage day-to-day insurance activities and coordinate with group and brokers to ensure assets and operations are properly covered.

The role includes maintaining policies, tracking renewals, coordinating with finance and other departments, and preparing reports on policies and claims. 2–4 years of experience in finance/insurance in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in insurance or a related role.
• Experience with manufacturing or industrial companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update all company insurance policies and related records.
• Coordinate with Group regarding policies, coverage, and requirements.
• Coordinate with insurance companies on day-to-day matters and renewals.
• Monitor policy expiry dates and ensure continuity of coverage.
• Coordinate insurance claims from notification to settlement and track outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports on policies, claims, and outstanding matters.
• Support Treasury in managing insurance-related risks and costs.

Job description

We are looking for an Insurance Officer to manage day-to-day insurance activities and coordinate with the Group and insurance brokers to ensure that the company's assets, operations, and business activities are properly covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update all company insurance policies and related records.
• Coordinate with the Group regarding insurance policies, coverage, and requirements.
• Provide accurate information required for insurance renewals and policy arrangements.
• Coordinate with insurance companies on day-to-day insurance matters.
• Follow up on policies, certificates, endorsements, and other required documents.
• Monitor policy expiry dates and ensure continuity of coverage.
• Coordinate insurance claims from initial notification through settlement.
• Follow up with insurance companies on outstanding claims.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to collect required information.
• Maintain an updated insurance register covering policies, coverage, expiry dates, and other key information.
• Follow up on insurance premiums and coordinate with Finance/Treasury regarding payments.
• Prepare regular reports on insurance policies, claims, and outstanding matters.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of insurance-related documentation.
• Support the Treasury Manager in managing insurance-related risks and costs.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required insurance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Group insurance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in insurance or a related role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial company is preferred.
• Experience dealing with insurance companies, brokers, and claims.
