Requirements
What should you have to fit in this role?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, particularly concentrated on cloud transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with a comprehensive understanding of cloud migration strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and adherence to industry best practices.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and project management capabilities.
- Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.
Core Infrastructure Migration: Supervising the design and implementation of Active Directory, Exchange, and comprehensive domain migrations.
ERP Cloud Transition: Overseeing the transition of HR systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) while ensuring data integrity and alignment of processes.
Data Governance & Security: Developing a data classification framework and enforcing strong information security governance measures.
DC & Passive Infrastructure: Overseeing hardware acquisition, colocation logistics, and the establishment of passive infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, it's nice to have:
Vendor Management: Assessing and creating Statements of Work (SOWs), as well as reviewing proposals from third-party vendors.
- Project Governance: Crafting project timelines, maintaining risk registers, and generating progress reports for executive leadership.
