Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Infrastructure Assets Integration Director to shape practical lifecycle plans and renewal programmes for large-scale infrastructure assets. You will coordinate with city operations, O&M teams, and stakeholders to ensure evidence-based decisions across lifecycle activities.

Role requires a strong background in asset management, lifecycle planning, risk prioritisation, and renewal planning, with familiarity with ISO 55001 and SAP EAMS reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Transport, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Experience in infrastructure asset management, roads, car parks, or transport infrastructure.
• Experience in lifecycle planning, renewal programmes, maintenance strategies, risk management, and asset management plans.

About The Opportunity

The Infrastructure Assets Integration Director supports the Asset Lifecycle Planning & Integration Director by working with the Infrastructure portfolio lead, roads and car parks stakeholders, City Operations and O&M teams to shape practical lifecycle plans and renewal programmes for infrastructure assets.

The role feeds risks, issues, opportunities, condition insights and maintenance feedback from O&M into prioritisation, lifecycle plans and renewal pipelines, ensuring infrastructure asset decisions are evidence-based and aligned with the city‑wide AM framework.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the development of lifecycle plans and programmes for roads, car parks, and infrastructure assets.
• Apply city‑wide asset management principles, renewal strategies, and intervention criteria to infrastructure planning.
• Develop maintenance, renewal, refurbishment, and replacement plans based on asset condition, criticality, and performance.
• Ensure lifecycle plans consider safety, resilience, maintainability, operability, user experience, and whole‑life value.
• Incorporate operational risks, issues, opportunities, and lessons learned from O&M activities into asset planning.
• Monitor asset performance, defects, recurring failures, and maintenance challenges to support informed decision‑making.
• Support risk‑based prioritisation using condition, cost, performance, safety, criticality, and service impact data.
• Escalate lifecycle and renewal risks arising from funding gaps, deferred works, or ownership issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure renewal pipelines through analysis of condition, risk, maintenance, cost, and performance data.
• Maintain evidence‑based renewal priorities and provide reporting on lifecycle risks, backlogs, budgets, and recommended actions.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Transport, Facilities Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are desirable.
• Experience in infrastructure asset management, roads, car parks, transport infrastructure, maintenance planning, or city operations.
• Proven ability to support lifecycle planning, renewal programmes, maintenance strategies, risk management, and asset management plans.
• Skilled in collaborating with O&M teams, consultants, and stakeholders to convert operational insights into improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of infrastructure lifecycle planning, planned maintenance, renewals, asset performance monitoring, and ISO 55001 asset management principles.
• Strong capabilities in risk‑based prioritisation, condition assessment, renewal planning, SAP EAMS reporting, lifecycle dashboards, and budget‑support analysis.
