Job summary

Saudi Telecom Company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Professional IT Engineer to assist in the design and development of circuits, systems, servers, databases and automated infrastructure services, following standard procedures and guidelines.

You will contribute to testing, maintenance, and reporting to support design decisions, and collaborate to ensure deployments align with enterprise architecture and IT governance.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure and design systems.
• Proficiency in data collection, reporting and project management.
• Experience with tests on circuits and telecom equipment.

Jobs at this level are responsible for assisting in design and development of circuits, systems, servers, database systems and automated infrastructure services etc. by performing recommended standard procedures and guidelines. Also, they are responsible to compile and report relevant statistics in order to support design decisions.

Job Responsibility

• Perform defined tests on simple circuits, systems and equipment, accurately as per the standard guidelines and specifications.
• Perform maintenance and repair of the existing systems and equipment under the direction and supervision of more experienced members of the team.
• Compile and analyse statistics, using systems, on the performance of current and new STC’s design systems, in order to support decision making at a higher level in the team.
• Ensure communication and adherence to established guidelines in all deployment and implementation operations of IT infrastructure.
• Deploy requisite infrastructure and applications required for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Collate infrastructure and applications requirements that are received from various Sectors to ensure the requirements are met on time.

Job Responsibility (cont.)

• Ensure all technical specifications pertaining to implementation and deployment is in line with the enterprise architecture design.
• Assist in tracking of license utilization across all applications.
• Support in governing software and related assets across.
• Handle the tuning and optimization of database systems in coordination with application owners.
• Maintain computer records and reports as directed, ensuring that these remain accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and updates all the necessary databases, including RFPs and vendor management databases.
• Perform pre-defined inspections and audits as directed in order to ensure Quality standards are maintained at the desired level.

Execute assigned responsibilities consistently, ensuring compliance with the established standards, policies, processes and operating procedures.
