Job purpose

• Operate and maintain all HVAC equipment in a safe and continuous operational state.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties.
• Inspection, repair, installation and alteration of HMG heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
• Daily checking of chillers, AHU, FAHU and Exhaust Fans.
• Check the primary pumps and secondary pumps.
• Clean the pre filter and bag filter as per the schedule.
• Report to the immediate supervisor any variation from normal operation state.
• Supervise and instruct subordinates within the scope of work. Work shifts as required.
• Work at all times in a safe manner within the Policies and Procedures of the hospital.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable works and duties assigned within the realm of knowledge, skills and abilities.
