Job summary

Sisco Jobs is seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Riyadh. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential HVAC/R systems, ensuring efficiency and safety in line with local codes and company standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on experience, a relevant Diploma/ITI or trade cert, and a valid HVAC certification. English is required, Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/trade cert in HVAC/R or mech/electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years hands-on HVAC/R experience; GCC/MEA experience preferred.
• Valid HVAC certification or trade license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of central HVAC, VRF, chillers, and commercial refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems in Riyadh per specs and codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ACs, chillers, condensers and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace components, motors, valves, wiring.
• Manage refrigerant charging, recovery and leak testing.
• Test system performance with gauges, detectors and electrical testers.
• Maintain service logs and equipment history per procedures.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC-Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Riyadh . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring system efficiency, compliance with local safety standards, and customer satisfaction across various facility management projects.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning: Install, assemble, and commission HVAC and commercial/industrial refrigeration systems according to specs and local building codes in Riyadh.

Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine preventive maintenance on air conditioners, chillers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, and refrigeration units.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults; repair or replace defective components, motors, valves, and wiring.

Refrigerant Management: Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak detection in accordance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

System Testing & Inspection: Test HVAC/R performance using specialized gauges, manifold sets, leak detectors, and electrical testing tools.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service logs, job cards, and equipment maintenance history in compliance with company procedures.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to onsite Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and electrical safety practices.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma, ITI, or Vocational Trade Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience as an HVAC/R Technician (Middle East / GCC experience, particularly in KSA, is preferred).

Licensing/Certification: Valid HVAC certification or trade license preferred.

Strong working knowledge of central HVAC systems, split/VRF units, chillers, cold storage, and commercial refrigeration units.

Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blue prints, and electrical wiring schematics.

Expertise in using HVAC tools: manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeter, refrigerant recovery machines, and leak detectors.

Good understanding of electrical controls, thermostats, motors, and relays.

Key Soft Skills & Language Requirements

Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic capabilities.

Good communication skills (English required; basic Arabic is a strong plus).

Valid Saudi Driving License is highly advantageous.
