Duties & Responsibilities
  • General support to the HSE Manager both in the field and in the office.
  • General Support to the operations team in the field and in the office.
  • Facilitate implementation of QMS and its subsystems (HMS, RMS and AMS).
  • Oversee, manage, and/or conduct internal, regulatory body and client compliance audits.
  • Monitoring of audit action items until closed out for assigned rigs.
  • Supporting the HSE Manager with the implementation of Corporate, country and client HSE safety initiatives.
  • Support in the preparation of WIRC and MSR presentations as required.
  • Identifying and communicating needed improvement of company processes to management.
  • Working with other departments (both line and staff) to develop and continually improve company processes, policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Assist the HSE Manager in establishing HSE goals to improve Sanad HSE Performance.
  • Make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  • Oversee creation, correction, amendment and review of RMS and AMS documents prior to submission to the Quality department for registration and publication.
  • Answering inquiries and providing guidance on the use and application of the RMS and AMS.
  • Respond and act upon suggestions/feedback received regarding the safety management systems.
  • Close assistance to area operations in assisting with the development, implementation, and improvement of their Area Management Systems.
  • Supervise, coach and mentor HSE staff on assigned rigs.
  • Ensure latest documentation is available and accessible to employees (internet, intranet, manuals, etc.).
  • Ensure all RMS manuals are up to date and the latest RMS CD is available at rig site and accessible to the rig crews.
  • Participate in orienting new HSE employees on RMS systems.
  • Attend industry conferences and stay abreast of current industry developments regarding HSE developments.
  • Attend all client HSE meetings, weekly, monthly and SOC Meeting.
  • Lead ALL Incidents investigations for assigned rigs.
  • Attend scheduled rig inspections as per NDIL and client requirements.
  • Ensure new technology is accessible to enhance employees’ access to the Rig Management System.
  • Implementation and facilitation of rig move procedures. Attend rig moves in the field as required.
  • Monitor statistics of own rig group for trends as supplied by Analyst in order to manage improvements.
  • Carry out monthly inspections with rig management.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Experience in multi-task environment
  • Minimum 7 to 8 years’ experience with drilling operations.
  • International business experience and travel
  • High level of presentation skills.
Education and Training
  • Minimum high school degree and bachelor’s Degree from accredited university preferred.
  • Certified NEBOSH IGC.
  • Membership of recognized industry associations (SPE, ASSE, IOSH etc.).
  • Computer proficiency in current versions of Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio.
