Job summary

Astek Middle East is seeking a Saudi national with hands-on healthcare integration experience to join our client's team as an HL7 Integration Developer / Integration Operations Engineer. In this role you will manage Mirth Connect channels, monitor data exchanges, troubleshoot interfaces, and collaborate with DevOps and DBA teams to ensure reliable healthcare data flow.

4+ years of relevant experience and strong HL7/FHIR knowledge are required, along with REST and SOAP API experience.

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience in integration development or healthcare integration.
Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect or similar integration engines.
Strong knowledge of HL7 and FHIR healthcare data standards.
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor Mirth Connect channels and message queues across environments.
Perform message reprocessing, error handling, and troubleshooting for failed interfaces.
Investigate integration issues and support timely resolution to maintain system stability.
Support onboarding of new integrations and assist developers with interface deployment.
Work with DevOps and DBA teams to maintain data flow.
Monitor integration performance and identify reliability issues.
Document integration procedures and configurations.
Support continuous improvement of integration operations and healthcare data exchange processes.
