Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 20+ years in high-voltage transmission line projects (preferably 380 kV+).
• Minimum 5 years in project/operational leadership in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability in project management, contract and commercial management with full P&L ownership.
• Strong understanding of Saudi regulations and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of HV transmission line projects across Saudi Arabia.
• Oversee planning, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Run the business with full P&L responsibility: budgeting, cost control, revenue, cash flow and profitability.
• Build and manage client relationships, particularly with SEC and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, client standards, contractual obligations and project HSE requirements.
• Lead project managers and cross-functional teams, optimise resources and resolve critical project issues.

Job description

Our client, a leading global EPC player in power transmission and distribution, is looking for a Head – Transmission Line to lead its high-voltage transmission line business in Saudi Arabia.

You will own end-to-end delivery of high-voltage line projects across the Kingdom, from planning and engineering through procurement, construction, testing and commissioning. You will carry full P&L responsibility for the business and act as the senior relationship owner with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and other key stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of high-voltage transmission line projects across Saudi Arabia, with timely delivery, quality, safety and client satisfaction
• Manage project planning, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning
• Run the business with full P&L responsibility: budgeting, cost control, revenue, cash flow and profitability
• Build and manage client relationships, particularly with SEC and other key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, client standards, contractual obligations and project HSE requirements
• Lead project managers and cross-functional teams, optimise resources and resolve critical project issues
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, set strategy and drive operational efficiency for sustained business growth

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 20+ years in high-voltage transmission line projects, preferably 380 kV and above
• At least 5 years of project and operational experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in a leadership position
• Proven expertise in project management, contract administration and commercial management, with full P&L ownership
• Strong understanding of Saudi and international client requirements, local regulations, project execution practices and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams, manage multiple projects and deliver operational and financial targets
