Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Head – Track Systems to provide strategic leadership across the Middle East railway portfolio. You will steer technical delivery, manage major bids, and guide client relationships while shaping innovative track systems solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in track systems, Chartered Engineer status, and proven leadership of complex rail projects across international markets.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Engineering or related discipline.
15+ years’ experience in track systems across high-speed, conventional, freight and metro railways.
Strong expertise in track systems architecture and integration.
Demonstrated leadership of complex, multidisciplinary rail projects.
Senior stakeholder and client management experience.
Experience with assurance, approvals, and certification processes.
Experience managing equipment suppliers.
Knowledge of track systems design, testing, commissioning, and asset management.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership across track systems projects.
Lead major bids, tenders, and procurement efforts with technical and commercial input.
Oversee delivery of track systems lifecycle, interfaces, and asset management activities.
Develop and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
