Job summary

Confidential seeks an experienced General Ledger Unit Manager to supervise GL activities, ensure accurate financial data, and drive timely closes. You will lead a team of accountants, enhance internal controls, and collaborate with IT on ERP improvements.

The role focuses on IFRS/GAAP adherence, monthly and annual closings, and delivering high-quality reporting. Multinational or shared-services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial general ledger role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and financial closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in line with deadlines.
• Implement and maintain effective internal control systems and clear accounting policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
