Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Senior Barista, Head Barista, Beverage Team Leader, or similar in upscale luxury environments.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso preparation, brewing methods, beans, signature beverages, crafted drinks, and seasonal creations.
• Understanding of coffee machines, grinders, brewing equipment, ingredients, preparation techniques, and presentation standards.
• Creative approach to developing and presenting innovative coffee and beverage experiences.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Understanding of inventory control, stock management, cost control, and POS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail to maintain quality, consistency, and speed in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Food safety or HACCP certification is an advantage.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily coffee and beverage operation ensuring smooth, efficient service and a welcoming environment.
• Be visible and hands-on during service, engaging guests and tailoring experiences.
• Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and in line with quality and presentation standards.
• Lead preparation and development of specialty beverages and seasonal creations.
• Stay current with trends, methods, and presentation techniques.
• Maintain mise-en-place including ingredients, equipment, and presentation tools.
• Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and ready for operation.
• Supervise, motivate, and develop the beverage team with high performance.
• Conduct briefings and coaching to strengthen coffee knowledge and guest interaction.
• Ensure grooming, service hygiene and behavioral standards are followed.
• Coordinate scheduling for appropriate coverage and labor management.
• Manage inventory, stock requisitions, ordering, and cost-control practices.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain records.
• Ensure POS transactions and cash handling comply with policies.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Build guest loyalty through personalized recommendations.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Outlet leadership and Marketing for promotions and events.
• Support special events and experiences that enhance engagement and revenue recall.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and safety regulations in KSA.
