Job description

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to support our finance function. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across accounting domains, IFRS compliance, SAP systems, and experience working with large organizations and Big4 auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards, including IFRS 15 (Projects Accounting).
• Lead and support accounting activities related to SAP systems, including SAP migration projects.
• Manage and coordinate relationships with Big4 audit firms, ensuring timely and accurate audit completion.
• Oversee accounting operations for a large revenue scope (~SAR 500 million).
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing.
• Support management with financial insights, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth finance operations during the assignment period.

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 15 years of experience in accounting across multiple domains (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc.).
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS.
• Proven experience in projects accounting (IFRS 15).
• Solid working knowledge of SAP.
• Experience in SAP migration projects is mandatory.
• Prior experience managing audits with Big4 firms.
• Background in large organizations / MNCs, managing high-revenue operations (~SAR 500M).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
