Job summary

Haskoning in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design of data centre projects from concept to delivery. You will work with senior engineers and multi-disciplinary teams.

You will gain exposure to cooling, ventilation, HVAC systems, and building services while developing technical and professional skills. A local team delivery in KSA is part of the role, and English is used in international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Recently graduated or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical building services design principles (HVAC and cooling).
• Good command of the English language for international project teams.
• Saudi Arabian nationality (KSA national) is required for this position to build a local team in the Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Support the mechanical design of data centre projects from concept to delivery.
• Work with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gradually taking on more responsibility.
• Assist with design of cooling, ventilation, and HVAC installations.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Contribute to delivering efficient, reliable, and sustainable mechanical design solutions for data centres.
