A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a graduate chemical/process engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will undergo an extensive training program in the UK and Norway, then contribute to onshore and offshore projects globally. Responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting research and consultancy studies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
The graduate chemical/process engineer will be part of the engineering team in KSA and work closely with the process team based in our MENA office. The role begins with a three‑month onsite training program at our state‑of‑the‑art testing facility in Flotta (UK) and a two‑week visit to the NOV Process Systems HQ offices in Oslo (Norway). The position requires an eagerness to learn and the ability to develop technical skills.
Upon completion of the training, the engineer will contribute to both onshore and offshore projects across the globe and may be required to travel extensively. Tasks include construction, installation, operation and removal of process equipment in our mobile testing facility, laboratory analysis, studies and experiments. Success in this role relies on attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with team members. Commercial awareness of engineering and chemistry decisions, a proactive approach to project delivery, and a willingness to broaden technical and interpersonal skills are essential.
Tertiary education in Chemical or Process Engineering.
Carry out duties in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures and department instructions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Participate in mandatory or approved training to develop job role skills.
Perform duties safely in line with Health & Safety Policy, procedures, training and instruction, and report hazards to the HSE representative.
