Job summary

Azure is seeking a seasoned General Ledger Manager in Riyadh to oversee the GL function, ensure accurate financial records, and lead month-end close with IFRS-compliant reporting.

You will coordinate with finance teams and external auditors, develop the GL team, and drive process improvements while maintaining strict internal controls and policy adherence. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in General Ledger or financial accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and other Finance functions.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Role Overview

The General Ledger Manager will be responsible for overseeing the General Ledger function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely month-end closing, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role will work closely with the Finance Director and other finance teams to ensure reliable financial reporting and strong financial controls.

Preferred

• Professional accounting certification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
• Experience in real estate, hospitality, property management, or a similar industry is an advantage.
