Job summary

Total-TECH Co. is looking for a Data Engineer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable, reusable ingestion pipelines on GCP and implement data transformations using BigQuery SQL.

Previous experience with CI/CD, SQL, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field are required. The role involves monitoring data pipeline performance and optimizing costs, ensuring efficiency and compliance with SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, GCS, Data Stream.
• Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery‑optimized) and data modeling for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ingestion pipelines on GCP.
• Implement transformations using BigQuery SQL, Dataflow, or IDMC.
• Monitor pipeline health, data freshness, and optimize performance.
