A global custodian bank in Riyadh is seeking a Fund Accounting Officer to manage daily accounting operations and oversee staff training. You will ensure timely deliverables while liaising with clients and addressing technical issues. This role requires proficiency in Arabic and English, along with at least 4 years of experience in financial services. You will also lead projects and process improvements, making it essential to have strong organizational and communication skills. A permanent contract and comprehensive benefits package are offered.
This managerial position has responsibility for managing the day to day Fund Accounting administration service ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time and in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards. You will act as a senior escalation point within the team for all internal State Street and Client related queries and are expected to take ownership or delegate as appropriate. The role holder is expected to work with State Street’s Outsourced Service centers and Centers of excellence ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards. The candidate will also be responsible for the management of staff, ensuring that all staff are trained, coached and developed in line with their role and development pathways. The Accounting Officer is directly responsible for leading projects, performing team and department level analysis of the process, running initiatives related to all aspects of the business at departmental level. The candidate is expected to be well versed in Arabic to be able to translate/review statements that may require translations to English by Operational FA teams. This position is based out of Riyadh, KSA but may include other Middle East domicile funds in remit.
