Job summary

Cognizant in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Test Analyst to join our QA team, focusing on Web Services testing and REST API validation to ensure reliable, scalable enterprise Billing & Revenue Management solutions.

You will design and execute test scenarios, perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web services and APIs, validate endpoints, payloads, status codes, and authentication, and contribute to release readiness with quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience in Web Services and API Testing.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web services and APIs.
• Validate REST APIs, including endpoints, payloads, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
• Create and maintain reusable test suites and data for efficient test execution.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed analysis and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Review application logs and service monitoring data to investigate and validate issues.
• Support release readiness activities through test reporting, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security guidelines, and testing best practices.
