Job summary

CROWN KSA is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our fleet.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnostics, welding as needed, and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical certification and experience in industrial or fleet environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment repair preferred.
• Proven experience as Front End Mechanic or similar role in industrial or fleet environment.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for certain roles.
• Able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on trucks, forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure safety standards.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed for repairs and modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
