Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting.
• 4+ years of relevant fixed assets experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, preferably Oracle Financials or Fixed Assets modules.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets accounting, CAPEX, depreciation, and asset reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
• Review and process asset capitalization requests in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Process fixed asset transfers, disposals, and write-offs.
• Perform periodic verification of fixed assets and investigate discrepancies.
• Review CAPEX requests and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor capital projects and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
• Prepare management reports and analysis related to CAPEX, depreciation, and fixed assets.
• Calculate and review depreciation expenses and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Support audits by providing fixed assets documentation and reconciliations.
• Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls over fixed assets.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure asset tracking and accurate reporting.
