Job summary

Nascom in Riyadh is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, test, inspect, maintain and repair fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and manufacturer specifications.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronics, have 3–5 years of experience, and be capable of reading electrical schematics, working with fire alarm control panels and detection devices, and communicating clearly with engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and detection devices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with fire safety codes and standards.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in alarm panels and detectors.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Ensure compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
• Maintain service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients during installations.
• Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues promptly.
