The FinOps Analyst will be responsible for service delivery of our Accounts Payable/Receivable functions for a specific geo / country and will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders within the Finance Shared Service Organization as well as the business. A key responsibility will be to deliver existing services at a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and controllership, while supporting business growth.

This role requires a self‑starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail, and a proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. It involves regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, and maintain a high bar on performance.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Performs autonomously, initiates and manages complex, departmental and/or cross‑company work.
  • Manages workload and establishes priorities.
  • Sets and improves policies and procedures, maintains full compliance, and implements best practices.
  • Serves as a consultant on projects and areas of finance or support of a business.
  • Act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • 1‑2 years of Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) experience.
  • 1+ year experience in continuous improvement projects that scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  • Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional lists, arrays, pivots, lookups).
  • Experience using data to analyze problems.
  • Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Lean.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies, participation in Lean projects, quality circles and creative work groups.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel or similar desktop applications.
  • Good typing speed – 25–30 w.p.m with 90% accuracy.
  • Minimum 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
