Job summary

A leading investment firm in Riyadh is seeking candidates for an investment role focusing on sourcing and evaluating alternative investments. Responsibilities include conducting market research, supporting due diligence, and developing financial models. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. An internship or experience of up to 4 years is preferred, along with CFA as a plus.

Job description

Support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of alternative investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, private credit, secondaries, and other private market strategies. The role requires strong analytical rigor, investment judgment, and the ability to independently run workstreams from initial screening through IC recommendation and post‑investment monitoring. The Candidate will also have the opportunity to work on select public markets streams.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market and investment research to support investment analysis, portfolio construction, and decision‑making across public equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
  • Support the investment team throughout the sourcing, due diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities across various asset classes, including funds and co‑investment structures.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to support the assessment of new and existing investments, including IPOs, direct equity investments, and co‑investments.
  • Assist in monitoring portfolio performance by contributing to performance reporting and portfolio‑level risk analysis across asset classes.
  • Prepare high‑quality presentations, investment materials, and reports for senior management and investment‑related committees.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance internal processes, tools, and analytical frameworks to improve efficiency and investment decision‑making.
  • Support additional investment‑related initiatives and ad hoc projects as required.
Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or any related field
  • From 0 to 4 Years of experience.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
