We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our Middle East Office Controllership team. You will oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end activities, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, accounting policy compliance, and external statutory compliance. You will also coordinate internal and external audits, manage ad‑hoc analyses, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Impact

As part of the MEO Controllership team, you will:

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly finance activities, including analyses, reports, reconciliations, and policy compliance.
  • Coordinate internal audits, assist external audit requests, and manage ad‑hoc analyses and special projects.
  • Research technical accounting matters and contribute to continuous improvement of office and firm accounting policies.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance audit procedures, localization efforts, and process flows.
  • Drive change in finance processes through design thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Present analyses and reports to office and function leadership, influencing decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with Finance Transformation and Global Finance Operations teams to simplify end‑to‑end workflows.
  • Lead and mentor the Finance team in the office.
Your Qualifications and Skills
  • University degree, preferably in finance or accounting; CPA or MBA desired.
  • 7+ years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • Broad finance knowledge and experience leading a finance function in a multinational environment.
  • Basic understanding of tax and local content regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical accounting research skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills.
  • Strong project and process management abilities; aptitude for coaching and motivating teams.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
