Role Overview:
We are seekingfor the Finance Executive – Trading Division who will beresponsible for managing end-to-end financial operations, reporting, and compliance for trading/retail activities. The role supports management through financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow control, and insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities, with a focus on trading/retail transactions.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, including division-specific KPIs.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts, considering market trends and seasonal variations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improving sales performance, margins, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws, including sales tax and inventory valuation.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, including inventory and POS-related audits.
  • Monitor cash flow, POS transactions, and perform regular cash reconciliations.
  • Provide financial insights to management to support pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory planning.
  • Strengthen internal controls and procedures related to cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
