Job summary

A leading oil and gas company in Dhahran is seeking an experienced Field Technician to support pipeline integrity solutions. The role involves executing field work according to QA/QC procedures, preparing reports, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Candidates must possess a degree in Engineering and experience in the Oil and Gas sector, preferably with In-Line Inspection exposure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong problem-solving attitude are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.

PIPECARE KSA is currently looking for a Field Technician to join our team.

Overview

By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. Due to our global focus and international growth, PipeCare is seeking an experienced Field Technician to support our continued growth in KSA.

Industry/sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services

Requirements: solution-oriented attitude; hands on approach; disciplined; team player; self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, sign and submit pigging daily, express and other relevant reports.
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field.
  • Study and analyze project information documents, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents.
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations.
  • Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordanceanie with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning.
  • Coordinate field mouth atua activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties.
  • Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards.
  • Conduct sufficient cleaningmanagement runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria.

  • Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirement.
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Professional level of English language is a must.

  • Ability to travel extensively including international trips.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs.
  • Ability to work either independently or within a team to ensure project success.
Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, orஇந்த communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site好 locations when necessary.
