Job summary

SAIC seeks an RF Engineer to support installation and integration of C4I system racks for RSNF. This field-based role requires hands-on work in operational environments rather than a traditional office setting.

The engineer will perform RF cabling, EMI surveys, post-installation tests, and prepare EMI summaries with findings. They will work with engineering on design, software installation, and equipment testing, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
• Experience with RF systems and field installation.
• Familiarity with EMI surveys and post-installation testing.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF cabling, terminations and testing during installations.
• Conduct EMI surveys before installation to establish EMI baseline.
• Prepare EMI summaries with findings and recommendations.
• Maintain RF systems on RSNF vessels and facilities.
• Use test equipment and diagnostics to isolate malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering on design, software installation and testing.
