Job description

The Field Electrical Engineer is responsible for supervising, executing, and monitoring electrical installation and commissioning activities at site to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards. The role supports smooth project execution through effective coordination with site teams and contractors.

Experience: 10-15years

• Supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and electrical codes
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety
• Review and implement method statements and work procedures
• Monitor site progress, productivity, and material usage
• Resolve site-related technical issues and support timely project delivery
• Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Prepare and maintain site reports, records, and as-built documentation

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Diploma not acceptable)
• Minimum 10+ years of field/site experience in electrical works
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with applicable electrical standards and safety regulations
• Ability to mobilize immediately
• Proven experience coordinating with contractors and site teams
