The Medicine Program is seeking highly qualified faculty members specializing in Medical Education. The ideal candidate will have a proven academic record in teaching and learning, expertise in curriculum development, and a strong research background in medical education. The faculty member will also be actively involved in academic advising, faculty development, community engagement, and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and facilitate courses related to Medical Education.
- Design and implement innovative teaching and assessment strategies.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in the field of Medical Education.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students and faculty.
- Develop and enhance medical curricula, learning methodologies, and evaluation systems.
- Participate in faculty development programs and training initiatives.
- Contribute to community engagement and interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of the Program.
Requirements
Education:
- Ph.D., MD, or MBBS with specialization or advanced qualifications in Medical Education.
- Certified training or diploma in Medical Education is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
- Expertise in curriculum development, assessment strategies, and educational technology.
- Strong research background with publications in medical education.
- Experience in faculty development and training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities effectively.
