Job summary

Red Sea Gateway Terminal seeks a civil maintenance engineer to manage maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and terrains, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

You will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure proper documentation and records are maintained. Strong design interpretation and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

To provide a hands-on service in respect of the maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and terrains, ensuring the planning, control, and execution of maintenance activities to meet operational and departmental priorities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications / Capabilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.


• Fluent in English (reading and writing).


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation.


• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in facility maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, or civil maintenance engineering.


• Preferably within the marine port industry, logistics hubs, industrial facilities, airports, or large-scale infrastructure environments.


• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.


• Experience in supervising contractors and service providers.


• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and updating engineering drawings.

• Maintenance and repair of buildings, infrastructure, and civil assets.


• Maintenance and repair of container yard structures and their components.


• Maintenance and repair of quay structures and their components.


• AutoCAD (Medium to Advanced Level) - Required.


• Ability to review, interpret, and update engineering and as-built drawings.


• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) – Basic to Intermediate Level.
