Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Facility & Maintenance Engineer in Saudi Arabia to oversee day-to-day maintenance of the manufacturing facility, infrastructure, and utilities. The role requires handling preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for CNC machines and production equipment, with strong focus on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with OEMs and service providers, support machine installation and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance of the manufacturing facility, infrastructure and utilities.
• Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs and external service providers for technical support and major breakdowns.
• Support machine installation, commissioning and facility readiness for the new JV operation.
• Establish maintenance SOPs, checklists, preventive maintenance systems and critical-spares inventory.

Position Details

Position: Facility & Maintenance Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 5–10 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Operations / Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance of the manufacturing facility, infrastructure and utilities.
• Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Manage maintenance of CNC turning, milling and other machining equipment.
• Coordinate with OEMs and external service providers for technical support and major breakdowns.
• Manage electrical systems, DG sets, compressed air, HVAC, water systems, fire & safety systems and other plant utilities.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment/breakdown records.
• Manage critical maintenance spares, inventory and procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, LOTO, permit-to-work and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including AMC activities and service contracts.
• Support machine installation, commissioning and facility readiness for the new JV operation.
• Establish maintenance SOPs, checklists, preventive maintenance systems and critical-spares inventory.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are particularly looking for candidates with a combination of:

CNC Machine Maintenance + Facility/Utilities Management + Greenfield/Plant Commissioning Experience

Candidates from Oil & Gas, Precision Engineering, CNC Machining, Aerospace & Defence, Heavy Engineering, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing or Machine Tool industries would be preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
