Executive Director – Contracts Management

We are supporting a leading organization in Saudi Arabia in identifying an Executive Director – Contracts Management to oversee all contract governance, negotiation, and risk functions across major development and construction programs.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of contracts management for large‑scale development and construction projects
  • Develop and implement contracting strategies, frameworks, and best practices
  • Drive high‑level negotiations, ensuring commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed
  • Oversee compliance with internal governance, project delivery requirements, and local regulations
  • Manage contract drafting, revisions, claims, variations, and dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including commercial, legal, project delivery, and procurement
  • Provide executive‑level direction on contract performance, risk exposure, and mitigation plans
  • Ensure alignment with mega‑project standards, PIF‑linked expectations, and client objectives
  • Mentor and guide teams to build strong contracts management capability across the organization
Candidate Requirements
  • 18+ years of total professional experience, with 8+ years dedicated to contract management
  • Strong educational background in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related fields
  • Experience working with top‑tier organisations, preferably PIF entities or major PMCs supporting PIF programs
  • Demonstrated success in high‑value construction, delivery, or large‑scale real‑estate projects
  • Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, risk management, negotiation, and governance
