Job summary

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a physician to diagnose and treat minor illnesses, examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.

You will counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare and refer complex cases to specialties, including video consultations. Work environment is indoors (100%), six working days per week, with 8 net hours per day as per department schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medicine from recognized universities; SCHS license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document findings.
• Design and execute the patient's plan of care.
• Educate patients on their health condition, investigations, treatment options and medication use.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Orders and reviews result of patients' investigations.
• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Vaccination where applicable.
• Refer cases to clinic specialties when applicable.
• The manager can assign other duties based on business need.

Diagnose and treat minor cases of illnesses. Responsible to examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Responsible to counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare whenever it is related to their individual cases & refer any cases need more investigation to specialties; video consultation.

Accountabilities

Clinical Tasks

• Educates patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Orders and reviews result of patients' investigations.
• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Performs additional tasks based on specialty and their clinical privileges.
• Responsible for Vaccination if applicable.
• Referring the cases to Clinic specialties when applicable.

The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need.
